Napoly then went on to win at medium level whilst happily working at Prix St George at home, but unfortunately a spavin in his right hock ended his dressage career.

I have taken time out from competing myself in the last 6 years to concentrate on my clients who have filled me with pride at becoming the Junior and Senior National RC Champions and competitors at the British Dressage National Championships from Prelim to Advanced Medium. I now have two lovely young horses again that I am so looking forward to training from Novice to Grand Prix.

It is the training of horse and rider that I love, much more than the competing. My years of qualifying for the BD Regionals and Nationals are some of my best memories, but some of my most favourite memories are of just me and a happy horse, skipping through a row of one time changes, dancing round a double canter pirouette, doing it just for fun, not because a judge or journalist is watching.

"Helping my clients obtain their own individual goals are my greatest achievements."
